Task

This is a group assignment , 2 person per group.We are required to find a space(s) within the campus area and will further examine the building materials that fill the space.

 

Part 1 :

We need to take pictures of space and it might be necessary for us to take some pictures by closer zoom in just to capture a clearer image to be loaded in our presentation in order for us to explain them in more detail.

 

 

Part 2 :

We must examine the materials that were used in these spaces. Observe the floor, walls, ceilings, windows and doors, space ladder (handrail and baluster), shelves, counter and cabinet and others. Explain about the suitability of materials to the surface used or our own opinion on the materials used.

 

 

Part 3 :

All pictures and descriptions must be creatively arranged and to occupy the A3 size board. Each panel must state the name, student id no and title of assignments.

In ths assignment,  I was able to put theories that I learnt during lectures and tutorials into practice. I can

identify all the materials of the classroom and able to explain it. I also learn that there are different types

of materials used in different places and have each reason to used it. Examples the glass used in window

because it can protect us from radiation of sun etc.

 

                         Morever,this assignment help us to develop and reinforce our thinking and problem solving skills by thinking                        critically in order for us to overcome each hurdles that we faced while accomplishing the project.When we                          face  the difficult things or problem,we can able to solve it. When we don't know what the materials of it, we                       try to find out ourselves and search through the internet.

 

Communication is the necessity for this assignment because this is a group assignment, we need to 

communicate with other group member and discuss the details of the area. It can improve our 

communicated skills and promote our relationship.Futhermore, Miss Asihah required us to find the

brochure of the materials that we had found in the classroom. This also need to communicate with the other people to get the brochure.
