This module will expose student to the principle, techniques and managerial issues, which form the process of project management. The area of study will focus in particular on project management in a construction context but will also make considerable reference to the activity in other fields of commercial and business activity to emphasize the broad applicability of the principle.
Group Assignment
​
In a group of maximum 6 students, I and my team need to locate a piece of vacant land beside Taylor’s University Lakeside campus. The land size should be around 800m2 to 1200m2. As the project manager of the client, decide the development / type of building on the chosen site. Hence, we were required to prepare the project brief.
The report should include, but not limit to the following:

Learning Outcome:
In this project, I was able to put theories that I learnt during lectures and tutorials into implementation as I am able
to understand the principle, techniques and managerial issues, which form the process of project management and
apply it in different project in order to run the project more smoothly. Not only that, we also learnt the various
management concepts such as Project Time Management, Project Risk Management, Project Cost Management, Project Procurement Management and many others.

Moreover,this assignment help us to develop and reinforce our thinking and problem solving skills thinking critically in order for us to overcome each hurdles that we faced while accomplishing the project.When we face the difficult things or problem,we can able to solve it.
Communication is the necessity for this assignment because this is a group assignment, we need to
communicate with other group member and discuss the details of the project. It can improve our
communicated skills and promote our relationship.
