Group Assignment

This is a group assignment that requires students to analyse the different methods of tendering and procurement methods that are being practiced in the industry for the branch campus of Taylor’s University in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The three tendering methods discussed in my assignment are open tendering, selective tendering and negotiated tendering. On the other hand, the two procurement methods examined are traditional procurement and design & build procurement. After detailed analysis of each methods, my group member and I have proposed the traditional method, with an selective tendering system for this project.

Learning Outcome:
In this project, I was able to put theories that I learnt during lectures and tutorials into implementation as I am able
to recognise the various tendering and procurement method and apply it in different project in order for the project
to run smoothly and prevent any miscommunication and conflicts between each other. Not only that, we also learnt
different clause in PAM 2006.
Morever,this assignment help us to develop and reinforce our thinking and problem solving skills thinking critically in order for us to overcome each hurdles that we faced while accomplishing the project.When we face the difficult things or problem,we can able to solve it.
Communication is the necessity for this assignment because this is a group assignment, we need to
communicate with other group member and discuss the details of the project. It can improve our
communicated skills and promote our relationship.
