This module will enable the development and establishment of a base knowledge of the fundamental principles of design and technology. Such base knowledge will enable students to appreciate the decisions made on design, functional element, selection and the rational and economic use of resources. It also explains the fundamentals of piled foundations, deep excavation, formworks, scaffoldings, shoring and underpinning, partition and suspended ceilings, portal frames, precast concrete and steel roof trusses.

We were required to choose a site and take the video of construction process in that site.This video project lasts around 20 minutes. This is a group assignment, we have 5 members. We have chosen the
Learning Outcome
In this assignment, we need to be able to identify and explain the construction process in this video including the machine which used in site and the materials used. Besides that, I was able to put theories that I learnt during lectures and tutorials into implementation as I was able to write out the script of the video and identify the construction process of the site.
Morever,this assignment help us to develop and reinforce our thinking and problem solving skills by thinking
critically in order for us to overcome each hurdles that we faced while accomplishing the project.When we face the
difficult things or problem,we can able to solve it.
Communication is the necessity for this assignment because this is a group assignment, we need to
communicate with other group member and discuss the details and contents of the video. It can improve our communicated skills and promote our relationship.
